Thank You to All Our Veterans!

In honor of Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, the American Legion Post 630 is leading the effort to mark all veterans’ graves at Hopewell Cemetery and would like your help.

On Saturday, November 4, beginning at 10 a.m., volunteers will gather at Hopewell Cemetery to place flags on veterans’ graves. No registration or RSVPs are needed. If you would like the City to keep track of your volunteer hours, please register at https://www.montgomeryohio.gov/volunteer/.

There are approximately 400 veterans buried at Hopewell, some dating back as far as the Revolutionary War.
