The City of Montgomery Beautification and Tree Commission has awarded the fall 2024 Seasons of Beauty award to Pablo Harker and Vera Winograd. The home’s entire lot was abundant with postcard-perfect colors this fall season.
The home was beautifully nestled in a lush, green front yard and perfectly silhouetted with mature maple trees bursting in orange, yellow, and red colors. Complementing the fall colors were green pines, cypress, and boxwood planted on both sides and along the front of the property. Adding to the color pallet were numerous mums in complimentary colors which anchored the sidewalk and porch. With a hint to Halloween, a small family of friendly ghosts greeted visitors, likely trick-or-treaters, to the front door.
The Seasons of Beauty award recognizes homes and businesses in Montgomery with special front yards, window boxes, and planters that peak during certain seasons as well as those homes and businesses with decorative features that celebrate the “season” or holiday.
Nominate your home or neighbor’s home by emailing a photo and short description to aaronkellenberger@gmail.com. The winter award winner will be selected this January and will be announced in the March Montgomery Bulletin.
