The City of Montgomery proudly welcomes two new police officers and a new Police Clerk to our department.
All three bring experience to their positions.
ANDY MCGUFFY has worked in law enforcement for ten years. He has worked in Colerain Township and Fairfield.
“What I find most rewarding in police work is the opportunity to make our community feel safe and to have a positive impact on its well-being. I am committed to serving and protecting the residents of Montgomery,” said Andy.
Andy likes to play golf, work out, and travel in his free time. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Maggie, their one-year-old daughter, Harlow, and their dog, Tytus.
DAN POHL comes to the City of Montgomery after serving the City of Fairfield as a police officer for 16 years.
“I enjoy being a police officer because it allows me the opportunity to serve the community,” said Dan.
I enjoy sports and am passionate about fitness. I enjoy playing golf and watching my kids play sports.
I have been married for 11 years and have three children, ages 9, 7, and 5. We spend most of our free time taking the kids to various sports.
BECKY KOLIGIAN also brings experience to her new role as Montgomery’s Police Clerk. Becky served at the Blue Ash Police Department for the last eight years. Her experience also includes the Hamilton County Communications Center and the City of Cincinnati.
“I come from a law enforcement family. My father retired from Cincinnati Police,” said Becky.
Becky says she’s been married to her best friend for eleven years and they have a mini Goldendoodle, Bella. In her spare time, Becky also enjoys traveling, reading, cycling, running, and lifting weights.
“I’m learning the Mayor’s Court duties, which are new to me. I love learning new things, and I’m excited about my career with the City of Montgomery!” Becky adds.
