Progress continues at Montgomery Quarter at the southern gateway to Historic Montgomery. The development team of Brandicorp, Neyer Properties, and Jeffery R. Anderson Real Estate, Inc. is working to bring this premier $150 million mixed-use development project to life. The Rambler Hotel, a boutique hotel of the Tapestry by Hilton brand, is currently under construction with a targeted opening date of October 2025. The boutique hotel will feature event spaces, a uniquely designed lobby bar named Sidecar, and luxury guest rooms.
Most recently, the Landmarks Commission recommended approval of the architecture and building designs for the new apartments in Phase 2 of the project. New partner Hills Properties proposes constructing luxury apartments along Cameron Lane extending to the roundabout at Montgomery Road and Cross County Ronald Regan Highway. The development team has taken great care to respect the historic character of nearby Historic Montgomery and to integrate the designs into the project. The apartments still require approval from the Planning Commission and City Council prior to permits being issued. Phase 2 of the project will also include additional restaurants, entertainment, public gathering spaces, and more.
