About
The Parks and Recreation Commission improves the quality of life of Montgomery citizens through development and maintenance of an integrated park system and comprehensive recreational program. The Commissions develops a long-term plan for the City’s park system while focusing on current safety standards, reviewing the recreation program and monitoring the pool policy.
Seven volunteers appointed by the Montgomery City Council compose the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Commission meets on the second Thursday of the month. Meeting locations vary, refer to the City Calendar and the Public Meetings Schedule.
